Baby, Guns, Flying, Pinata's

I always have the best of intentions for keeping this up to date, but then I totally get side tracked, or I feel like nothing exciting is going on.

Two weeks ago I had my Tuesday with Porter and we had a great time. He is SO fun these days. He is learning to get around, he has his own unique way of crawling, however it might be a real crawl by now. He was trying so so hard.

Chad took me shooting for the first time last week. And I may be a rookie but I did pretty awesome. I usually always hit the target in the center, yay me! I shot two different 9mms and a 22. It was pretty fun I must admit.

Not too shabby for my first time right?

Chad's flight progress has been a bit slow going lately. Due both to weather sucking and his new job. Hopefully when we have more nice days he will fly more after work, and then when he goes to second shift before work. He qualifies to take his commercial check ride now, he just needs to do a bit more prep. It won't take him long he is such a natural. It's hard to believe how many flight hours he has accured in the last 9months. He would be done by now if Washington weather didn't mess it all up.
He has been at his new job for over two weeks now. He is already doing mandatory overtime to get through all the training and that will by no means stop when he gets into the plant. He did very well in the shop last week, and he got a little reminder that he does indeed do great work :-)
Work for me has been really busy, we have been totally full for weeks now. Maybe I'll even get some overtime in. It would be a nice little bonus on the paycheck.

Last night we went to our friend Ann's 29+1 birthday party as she calls it. It was pretty fun. Josh her husband bought a pinata, which I have not done one of those over 14 years at least. But we had a blast, Chad liked spinning me, he loves to make me dizzy.
