The short and sweet version!

Ok well since I have been terrible at keeping this up to date I'll just have to sum up the past 3 weeks and then try my best to keep things updated (haha ya right!!)

Lets see here major events:

My mother and sister in law came into town for about a week. Poor Chad had to work but the three of us got lots of time together. I did a terrible job at taking pictures so I only have a couple. I believe Carol has a few good ones.
We took Lincoln to the water one day, they just had to see him in action

That's one of the really good family pictures. The three of us went to Pike's Place one afternoon then Chad met us down there and we went to Melting Pot for dinner. Carol and Christina had never been there before, it was excellent.






I also took them shopping one day. Refer to the pictures from above the peach shirt that Carol is wearing is one of the cute tops she got that day. It was fun and she got a couple of outfits that she looks just fabulous in.

Another BIG event of that week was that my sister had her first baby. Porter James! He is perfect. It's very exciting to be an aunt, however for my sister's sake I think I should be less excited.







Last weekend I started nights and Chad finally got his house painted (the whole thing primed and painted in two days). Way to go babe! It looks awesome! Wish I had before pictures because the house was this terrible puke yellow color.




This weekend we went and saw Porter, Chad got to meet him for the first time. Hung out with some friends and Chad has been flying and studying like crazy. Because of his job and family being in town his is WAY WAY behind in ground school material and has to be caught up by tomorrow. He has two more weeks of ground school left... woh its moving fast. Then he will just need to get all his flight hours in and then test for his Instrument rating! Woohoo!!!

Independence Weeekend!!

We had a fun but different 4th of July weekend. Chad had more fun than me cause I worked on Sunday but Saturday was still fun.

On the 4th Chad had a flight in the morning, which he rocked at. The instructor told him that the air force is missing out not having him as a pilot. That DEFINITELY made his day. He is kicking butt in flight school which is very exciting. Then we headed to Seattle for the day. We met our dear friends Josh and Jen there. And hung out all day with them, Billy, and Matt and Sarah Garcia (the co-owner of Chad's house). We spent the afternoon walking through shops and being silly. Then went to the Blu Water Bistro for dinner. I was not so impressed with the food but it was right on Lake Union and beautiful. It would have been even cooler had we been able to stay for the fireworks but I had to get home early for work on Sunday morning. Josh said it was the best fire work display he has ever seen! I was so bummed.


Sunday I worked and Chad went on an all day motorcycle ride with Josh and some other friends. They went around Whidby Island and a few others; I wasn't there so I don't remember them all. Chad was tired when he got home but he said it was a great day. I will post some pictures of that when we get them from Josh.


....oopsy I forgot the pictures are on the other computer from this weekend so I'll have to add them later.... sorry about that!!!
